BiographyJohn Charles Quimpo (AEA, AGMA), also known as JC, is an acclaimed stage performer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Originally hailing from the Philippines, JC has a track record of competition success, having secured Regional and Provincial Championships in Vocal Solo Classical and English Declamation.
After relocating to the United States, JC refined his craft at the American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.), specializing in Musical Theater Performance. His talent was recently recognized with the Best Supporting Performer in a Play award from the BroadwayWorld San Francisco Bay Area Awards, alongside a nomination for Best Featured Performance in a Comedy from the San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Awards. JC's commitment and passion for theater have been evident in numerous productions across the Bay Area. His recent notable performances include portraying Adult Trouble in San Francisco Opera's Centennial Season production of Madame Butterfly, Doctor Hoskins in Town Hall Theatre Company's Human Error, Leaf Coneybear in Landmark Musical Theatre's The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Chris and Dance Captain in Theatre Rhinoceros' The Boy From Oz, and Bernstein in Redwood City Players' Dogfight. JC continues to bring versatility and fervor to each role, leaving a positive impact on the theater community. |
